Country has two climate zones, moderate in which plains and mountain ranges, and second Mediterranean subtropics of Crimes southern shore. Ukraine is one of climatically comfortable countries in world; sunlight varies to more than 2400 in south from 1700 in north with number of hours. Temperatures vary predominantly from north to south,
 

in country Carpathians from northwest to southeast, lowest temperature of February and January is almost -7 Degree C, highest temperature varies in July with +17 up to +19 Degree C. in Carpathians it went down to 13 or 14 Degree C in Crimean Mountain. There is an amount of rainfall that decreases from north and northwest to southeast and south.

 

Most of rain falls during warm time of year (except southern shore of the Crimea), highest amount of rainfalls in Carpathians and in Crimean Mountains at 1000-1200 mm, in western part of country rainfalls at 600-650 mm and in southwest 400-450mm. there is clearly defined change of the seasons during year, winter are long but relatively warm, snow and frost. In Ukraine Carpathians it almost last 120-130 days and in north Crimea 57-90 not above 85on far south and southwest, it is influence by warm air that currents from Atlantic and Mediterranean. Spring Season starts when average temperature cross 0 Degree C, frosts are possible in that season

 


In Ukraine Climate is similar to wheat-producing regions of the Canada, it is characterized by the abundant precipitation as well as cloudy skies, in fall and winter especially. Meant temperature is 19 Degree C in summer and -6 Degree C in winter, summer tend although to be a little short, temperature can also rise to 30 Degree C making, uncomfortable season, many building have central cooling system for that time of year. There is long time of winter with cool, cloudy as a norm.
